Cetacean conservation, Protection of whales dolphins and porpoises,

Description

Marine Connection was founded in 1997 after being directly involved in campaigning against, and successfully closing down, the last dolphinariums in the UK. The charity is dedicated to the protection, conservation and welfare of dolphins, whales and porpoises – securing a safer future for cetaceans across the globe. It addresses many of the threats these marine mammals face, lobbying governments and liaising with decision-makers to create or change legislation laws to ensure better protection for cetaceans – both in the wild and in captivity.
