Seal Rescue Ireland is a Registered Charity that works around the clock to rescue, rehabilitate and release seal pups found sick, injured or orphaned across the coast of Ireland. As the only seal rescue centre within the Republic of Ireland, they respond to reports nationwide and aim to rehabilitate the pups back to full health so they can be returned to the wild. SRI promotes ocean conservation and sustainability through proactive education, research, community engagement and habitat restoration programmes, in order to protect our seas and all life within. Sealcentre Pieterburen

Seal Rehabilitation and Research Centre at Pieterburen is a scientific research-based seal hospital, with modern facilities including a quarantine area, a laboratory, and professional staff. Hundreds of seals are cared for annually, including seals injured by boats or fishing nets, and those ill from pollution, or orphaned. All rehabilitated seals are released into the wild. The centre also conducts scientific research into wild seals, in order to gain insight into their behaviour, the state of their ecosystem, and how their problems can be prevented.
Sri Lanka Wildlife Conservation Society Marine Project

Based in Kalpitiya in Northwest Sri Lanka, SLWCS's Marine Project addresses the conservation issues affecting Sri Lanka’s marine wildlife and is also providing opportunities for ecotourism and alternative livelihoods to promote sustainable development in the area. Their aim is to collect information about the current state of the area, including sea turtle, shark, dugong and pink dolphin conservation via nesting surveys, monitoring programmes, in-situ hatching projects, as well as educational workshops, beach clean-ups, mangrove planting, and waste management schemes. They also have an office in Nutley, New Jersey in the USA.
