Marine Watch International’s mission is 'to protect the ocean by promoting the sharing of information and fostering collaboration'. One communication medium used is The Ocean Resource, a newsletter which reports on multiple conservation activities and organizations. Their Ocean Conservation Community is a platform space where cooperative networking is enhanced and accelerated using current technology and available to everyone. They have also created an online knowledge hub FundingtheOcean.org which is designed to track, inform and inspire ocean conservation philanthropy.
