Marine conservation awareness and education, Protection of marine life, Sharks and rays,

Reguar, coordinated by Kap Natirel, works to study and protect sharks and rays throughout the French Antilles (Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Martin and St Barthelemy). The Network, also known as the French Antilles Sharks Network, involves many associations, stakeholders in the sea, volunteers, scientists, managers of natural areas and State bodies. Their aim is 'to preserve and conserve the elasmobranch [sharks and rays] populations' of the area and their habitats, and to inform and educate the public about these marine creatures.
